Goal:
To create a single provenance graph which is the union of a series of sub-graph that may have been created by separate, heterogeneous systems
Summary:
A well-known requirement for scientific data systems is to create a single provenance graph for data items. If the data item was created byu a series of heterogeneous processes that themselves generate provenance graphs., the entire provenance graph will need to be assembled by the union of these sub-graphs. The Actor will need to collect these sub-graphs, union them and re-present them.
Postconditions:
Provenance from multiple systems is presented in a standardised format
Steps:
Generate provenance from a series of non-integrated systems
Join provenance from multiple systems on handover objects (likely Entities)
